Screening for early cancer detection may reduce the rate of related metastatic disease, but not always. In a published study in the New England Journal of Medicine, researchers evaluated the incidence of men having a diagnosis of advanced, metastatic prostate cancer at the initial prostate cancer diagnosis. The researchers data from the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) Program database. Last Wednesday the House passed with a vote of 392 to 26, a medical innovation bill known as the 21st Century Cures Act, aimed at curing diseases, with the measure securing bipartisan support after months of negotiations. Cognition and Hormone Therapy (ADT)

There have been numerous studies examining the how hormone deprivation (ADT), in the treatment of prostate cancer, has on a man’s cognition.
